UK law firm Ashfords continues to improve its Chambers & Partners rankings, with 48 lawyers and 21  departments recognised in the 2023 directory of which six practice areas and nine Partners were in the top band. 

Chambers & Partners is an independent research company that ranks lawyers, legal departments and law firms in the UK and globally through an annual client research and law firm submission process  

Ashfords received Band 1 rankings for Charities: Legacy Disputes, Construction, Corporate/M&A, Private Wealth, Social Housing and Sport: Horse Racing & Equestrian

The nine top band Partners include Michael Alden - Private Wealth Law, Paul Butterworth - Social Housing, Rebecca Dury - Banking & Finance, Tim Heal - Real Estate, Stephen Homer - Construction, Robert Horsey - Private Wealth Disputes, Rory Mac Neice - Sports: Horse Racing & Equestrian, Susie Murray - Agriculture & Rural Affairs and Andrew Perkins - Litigation.

Partners Amy Gallimore, Ed Hobbs and Barny Croft are all recognised as ‘Up and Coming’ for  Restructuring/Insolvency: Personal Insolvency, Banking & Finance and  Private Wealth Disputes and Charities: Legacy Disputes respectively. The firm also has five Associates listed as Associates to Watch and Star Associates.
